SPICE ROAD - NORTH WESTERN ITALY

Venice

Venice

Venice is a city like no other.  It's expensive to live in Venice, but it's worth it  for the beauty and the peace of mind that comes with being surrounded by  water. Traveling the waterways in Venice is breathtaking. Either a gondola ride or taking a water taxi, one can feel the Still, one cannot help but shed a tear for the city which does not have a evangelical church. There are no churches in the city, and  yet it is beautiful and breathtaking. There is no work to preach the  gospel, and yet the gondolas and water taxis are a constant reminder of  the gospel message that needs to find a way through.

Padova

Venice

Padova is a university town in northeastern Italy. It is home to the world's oldest university, founded in 1222.  With over 60,000 students, it is one of the most  populous cities in Italy. Many of these students are international and  come from all over the world. This provides a unique opportunity for  churches in Padova to reach out and share the gospel with people from  many different cultures and backgrounds. The city has grown  significantly in recent years, due in part to the influx of students. It  is now comparable in size to Verona, another major Italian city. This  makes Padova an ideal place for churches to have a global reach and  impact.

Vicenza

Vicenza

Vicenza is a beautiful city in northern Italy, known for its stunning  views of the Alps and its large south Asian population. With over 11,000  south Asians living in the city, Vicenza is a great place to enjoy some  delicious coffee and culture. However, due to the lack of a gospel  presence in the city, it is important to reach out to this community  with the good news of Jesus Christ. We have a coffee shop at the piazza. The Piazza is a great place for food festivals that connects the South Asian families. Please pray for the efforts to reach out to the south Asian community here in Vicenza.

Verona

Vicenza

Verona is a beautiful city located in northeastern Italy. Although it is  not as large or well-known as Rome, it has its own unique charm and  appeal. One of the things that makes Verona so special is its connection  to the classic Shakespearean tragedy Romeo and Juliet. In fact, many  tourists come to Verona specifically to see the famous balcony where  Romeo and Juliet supposedly shared their final kiss.

But there is  more to Verona than just its literary history. The city is also home to  a number of catholic churches, which serve as an important part of the  community. There is a great need for churches among the South Asians.

Mantua

Sanguinetto

Mantua is a lake town in Italy that is absolutely beautiful. It's known  for its amazing sunsets, and it's a popular tourist destination.  However, there are no churches among the south asians who live there.  This presents a great opportunity for gospel work and preaching.

We have  a coffee shop in an industrial area which has many from unreached  people groups. The coffee shop provides a great opportunity to reach out to these people and share the gospel with them.Mantua also has a major train station that leads to south  Italy. This makes it an ideal place to reach out to those who are lost  and need the gospel.

Sanguinetto

Sanguinetto

Sanguinetto is in the Verona province of North Eastern Italy. A farming  community, Sanguinetto does not have any churches. However, we have  started one church in the middle of the town center. Sanguinetto is an  example of a dying town, but small towns are growing in South Asian  population as immigrants work as laborers in farms. We are reaching out  to neighboring cities of Nogara, Cerea and Legnago with the gospel  message and the need for churches. We are also starting a coffee shop as  a way to reach out to the community and build relationships. Our hope is that this will be a place where people can come to learn  about the love of Jesus Christ and be transformed by his grace.

Salara

Salara is in the Rovigo region of North Eastern Italy. It's home to our  home for refugees. We provide them with housing and food. Help them with  paperwork so they can seek asylum without hiccups and problems. We are  going to start coffe shop. we train them with skills and help locate  jobs so they can settle down. Its a oasis of love and hope. Our goal is  to help these refugees find a new life, one where they can be safe, have  a job, and support themselves and their families. Our coffee shop will  provide them with a place to learn new skills, socialize, and feel part  of the community. We'll also help them find jobs so they can start  rebuilding their lives.

Ferrara

Ferrara is a university town that is close to the coast. It does not  have a single evangelical church in the region. However, it does have a  lot of farms on its outskirts that are filled with South Asian laborers.  The city has a population of 125,000 people. It is located on the  highway between Padova and Bologna. Despite its lack of churches,

Ferrara is an exciting place to live. There are many opportunities to  reach out to the agricultural laborers who live and work on the farms  surrounding the city. And, of course, being a university town, there are  always events and activities going on around campus.

Bologna

Bologna

Bologna is one of the larger cities in Italy with a population of over  500,000. It is also home to the oldest university in Europe. This makes  Bologna a great place for gospel work. There are plenty of opportunities  to share the gospel with people from all walks of life. However, there  are no churches in Bologna. This means that we need to start mission  efforts to gain momentum.

We need to start at least 5 coffee shops  across the city to reach out to students and other people who may be  interested in learning more about the gospel.

Modena

Reggio-Emilia

Bologna

Modena is a city in northern Italy, located in the province of Modena.  The capital of Romanesque art, Modena was made a UNESCO World Heritage  Site in 1997. It boasts a wealth of monuments, including the  12th-century Duomo di Modena, heavily adorned with sculptures  representing Biblical characters and stories.

The city is also  home to the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, founded in 1175.  There are no churches in the university area, but there is a gospel work  among the students. Coffee shops are popular with the students, and  there are many around the university. Some 100,000 people live in Modena, and the city is well connected to Milan by highway.

Reggio-Emilia

Reggio-Emilia

Reggio-Emilia

Reggio Emilia is a city in northern Italy. The city is also home to a university,  making it an ideal place to put coffee kiosks to reach students. In a city with a population of over 170,000 people, you would expect to  find at least a few churches. But, in Reggio Emilia, there are none. In the early 1800s, the University of Reggio was founded. At that time,  the city was known for its gospel work and students came from all over  Europe to study here. But as time went on, the university became less  religious and more secular. And in the early 1900s, all of the churches  in Reggio Emilia were demolished.

This  may seem strange at first, but it's actually part of the city's  history.Students look for coffee shops because  they are always looking for a place to study or relax.

Parma

Reggio-Emilia

Reggio-Emilia

Parma, Italy is a city full of culture, music and theatre. It is also a  UNESCO Creative City for gastronomy, and the capital of the Food Valley. This means that Parma is home to some of the best food in Italy! The city is also the capital of the Food Valley, which is an area from  which many Italian food products are exported around the world. Some of  the most famous products to come out of the Food Valley are Parma ham  and Parmesan cheese. Parma is home to many universities, coffee shops. It is  considered by many to be a little Paris because of its refined  appearance. However, there are no churches in Parma. There are no churches in Parma, but gospel work has begun here.
